Boutique Bonaire is home to 8 small-scale resorts on the beautiful island of Bonaire. Staying small and personal is at the heart of what we do. We believe in creating a warm, welcoming atmosphere where our guests feel right at home.

  • Maintenance Technician

    Hours: 40 hours per week


    As a Maintenance Technician, you are the unsung hero behind our resorts. You make sure everything is functioning properly and looks well-maintained, so our guests can feel comfortable and at home throughout their stay. From small repairs to checking installations and equipment, you keep everything running smoothly and directly contribute to an unforgettable guest experience.


    What will you do?

    • Resolve guest complaints and requests quickly and in a guest-oriented manner.
    • Identify issues in rooms, facilities and installations and handle them independently.
    • Carry out outstanding maintenance and ensure everything functions safely and properly.
    • Work closely with colleagues from other departments to ensure an excellent guest experience.
    • Inspect and maintain technical installations, equipment and common areas.
    • Assist with minor renovations, repairs and improvement projects across the resorts.
    • Help keep all facilities clean, well-maintained and presentable.
    • Keep maintenance records up to date and report any issues or special circumstances to your supervisor.

    What are we looking for?

    • Several years of experience in a technical and operational working environment.
    • Experience creating and carrying out maintenance schedules.
    • A broad range of technical skills, including electrical work, plumbing and general maintenance.
    • Knowledge of relevant maintenance regulations and safety requirements.
    • MBO-level education or equivalent practical experience.
    • A technical degree is a plus, such as Electrical Engineering or Civil Engineering.
    • A valid driver's license.

  • Office Assistant

    Hours: By mutual agreement

    Are you administratively strong, detail-oriented and good at keeping an overview? Do you enjoy working with different systems and coordinating multiple tasks at the same time? Then we are looking for you!

    As an Office Assistant, you will primarily work from the office and behind a computer. You will support our daily operations with various back-office, administrative and reservation-related tasks. You will mainly communicate via email, WhatsApp and phone with guests, colleagues and external partners.


    What will you do?

    • Manage reservations, changes and cancellations in the reservation system for multiple resorts.
    • Prepare quotes for (potential) guests based on their preferences and availability.
    • Answer phone calls, emails and messages from (potential) guests.
    • Provide guests with information about their stay, facilities, car rentals, tours and other services.
    • Process payments and prepare and check invoices.
    • Ensure smooth communication and coordination between different departments.
    • Assist with various back-office and administrative tasks.
    • Contribute ideas to improve and streamline our processes.

    What are we looking for?

    • You are accurate, organized and structured.
    • You are comfortable working with computers and learn new systems quickly.
    • You can multitask and keep a clear overview.
    • A friendly, positive and flexible attitude.
    • Good command of Dutch and English; Spanish is a plus.
    • Experience in administration, hospitality or reservations is a plus.

  • Resort Service Coordinator

    Hours: By mutual agreement

    Are you someone who likes to get things done and isn’t afraid to roll up your sleeves? Do you notice what needs to be done before anyone has to ask? And do you take pride in making sure a resort, room or storage area is clean, organized and well maintained? Then we are looking for you!

    As a Resort Service Coordinator, you will be working across our different resorts on a daily basis. You make sure everything is clean, complete and in good condition, while keeping a close eye on anything that needs attention.


    What will you do?

    • Manage the keys and ensure they are always complete and well organized.
    • Check and prepare rooms before guests arrive.
    • Keep storage and supply areas clean, organized and fully stocked.
    • Identify maintenance issues and areas for improvement and make sure they are passed on to the appropriate colleague or external partner.
    • Handle small practical tasks yourself and aren’t afraid to get your hands dirty.
    • Check that facilities, inventory and rooms are complete and in good condition.
    • Act as a direct point of contact for our guests during their stay: assisting and informing them and independently resolving minor issues.
    • Ensure all resorts are clean, well-maintained and presentable.
    • Work closely with colleagues across different departments.

    What are we looking for?

    • You are a hands-on person who takes initiative and doesn’t wait to be told what needs to be done.
    • You have a practical mindset and naturally see what needs attention.
    • You work neatly and have an eye for detail.
    • You are independent, reliable and responsible.
    • Available to work on Saturdays and Sundays.
    • A friendly, positive and flexible attitude.
    • Good command of Dutch and English; Spanish is a plus.
